How about a trip to Europe to buy a new Volvo?

How about a trip to Europe to buy a new Volvo?

In the past few years I have been able to help many of my clients go to Europe to pick up a new Volvo on Volvo’s dime.

Volvo has a program called Overseas delivery for normal tourists like you and me, but also for our Military members.

This is the way it works. Choose the Volvo you want to pick up. Build it that exact way you would like it. Volvo will build it to your specifications and price it to you for 8% less than US MSRP.

They will then help you arrange transportation for two to Europe to pick it. You will fly using SAS Airlines and Volvo will pick you up at the Airport and take you to the Hotel (Volvo pays for one night stay as well). Pick you back up the next day take you to the factory for a tour and your new car Delivery experience.

You then get to drive the car as Volvo will provide Insurance and European registration for 15 days. If you choose not to drive and turn around and go home that is fine as well. Hey! While you are there take a Vacation and not have to rent a car!

When you get done Volvo will ship the car back here to Boise Free of Charge. It takes about two months for its arrival.

Go to Volvo Overseas for additional information and or Call me at 208-602-4969 or email me at mfabello@lylepearson.com.

You will be Thrilled

Hi! My name is Ted Cook and I love my job. Really. Think about it. I get to help people decide on and purchase a new car. It's a special time for most people... whether it's a mom and dad picking out a safe and reliable car for their son or daughter, or a couple with a new addition to the family on the way who need a little more room, or a guy or gal who just want to get something a little nicer as they move up in the world. The one thing they all have in common is the excitement of getting a new car and the satisfaction of being treated fairly and professionally. That excitement and satisfaction is contagious and I get to share in it every day. It really makes coming in to work every day a pleasure. Thanks everyone for allowing me to help you... and have a such great time doing it!

Another thing that makes being a part of Lyle Pearson Co. so great is the people who belong to this organization. From Mr. Pearson on down to the part-time folks who wash the cars, everyone is not only a dedicated professional but are also genuinely kind people who care about each other and the company they work for. That attitude naturally extends to our customers and clients and is what makes the experience they have here special. Here in the Land Rover/Jaguar/Volvo showroom, I get to work with some great people who have been here a long time. I'm the least tenured salesperson here and I'm in my fifth year. Between the four of us we have over forty years of experience representing our brands! You can bet that when you have questions or concerns, they will be addressed in the most knowledgeable way. So come on by... if I'm not here just ask Jeanette or Mark or Chris for assistance. I promise that you'll be thrilled with the experience. - Ted

Trade Values

Kelly Blue Book/NADA/Edmunds.com/BlackBook unfortunately are not the Bible for car values. We as a dealer have to look at what other dealers are paying for them (from dealer to dealer) that gives us a true value this can be found at a dealers only site Manheim.com. If we pay more than any other dealer for the car we must also price ours higher than any other dealer. Which means, we may never sell it, if we pay too much.

We do not determine values for cars, the market does: You car also may show an accident on Carfax so any one whoever pulls up a Carfax, (and we do to show them to every one) who wants to buy from us. The customer will always tell us it has been in an accident and therefore they will buy the car elsewhere because the other cars they are interested in do not show an accident no matter the severity. I am sorry. Your car is worth as much as the market allows. It only makes it tougher for us to sell if we pay more than any other Dealer.

I know most consumers would not buy a car that has been in an accident no matter the severity. It is referred to as diminished value in the eyes of the buyer.
