Land Rover Evoque

Some of my colleagues were musing recently about the name of this vehicle. Must we wear out our keyboard-calloused fingers typing “Land Rover Range Rover Evoque?” It seems that the shortest vehicle in the company’s line-up has the longest name, such as the previous champ Land Rover Range Rover Sport. But, we must, as we have just added this upscale SUV to our fleet.
So not only does the Evoque suggest a much less truck-like driving experience, it may also be much more fuel efficient than some of the brand’s behemoths. In fact, Land Rover estimates the stylish SUV will get 28 mpg on the highway.
So give me a call to take the new Evoque for a spin, and will see if it deserves the long name. Ted Cook 208-921-1344

With winter heading our way

With winter heading our way stronger than ever. Consider a new or pre owned SUV from Lyle Pearson Premier Motors. The newly designed 2012 ML 350 or Bluetec Diesel, the Land Rover LR4 or Sport or Full sizes Range Rover, the sturdy and steady Volvo XC90 all qualify for the Tax Breaks that an over 6000 lb SUV can give you.

Think smaller and consider the Mercedes GLK or the Acura RDX or the Volvo XC60 or XC70 and the Land Rover LR2.

Think all new Range Rover Evoques that are now available by Order only.

Let me know how I can help, Mark Fabello your Prestige SUV specialist.

a very special “Happy
Father’s Day wish!

“Life is an
opportunity that
we need to take full
advantage of. I know
that everything in life is
temporary, and we
are not given
nearly enough
time with the
people we truly
wish to spend it
with…nothing
in life is forever
and that trying to
hold on is like
trying to hold a
handful of water,
you simply
cannot.” John
Jackson (age 15)

At every opportunity,
let your father, husband,
brother, uncle, grandfather,
father-in-law and special
friend know how much you
truly love and miss them.
Include them in your daily
prayers or thoughts. May
the Joy of health, happiness,
love, peace and prosperity
always surround you and your
dear family in the years to
come – “Action” Jackson

2011 Acura

2011 is already off to an exciting, but fast start. First of all, I wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy New Year and Happy Valentine’s Day. You probably been wondering what has been happening with “Action” Jackson and the worldwide Acura Family. All I can say is “A lot”

We have a couple of 2010 Acura TSXs and TLs left. I want to see them gone, because we are not a museum and these sedans need a home.

2011 Acura MDX’s sales have been brisk as most incoming units have been pre-sold and we are trying to get more. The response for the Advance Package has been tremendous. I finally broke down and got me a MDX Tech too. Jackie and I look forward to taking some fun trips this year.

Did you know we have the new Acura TSX Sporty Wagon? It is gorgeous, sporty and very functional. As they say in Florida: “Come on down”

Acura Finance is offering special financing terms on certain 2010 and 2011 models.

Compared to last year, sales are up. What are you waiting for? Please give me a call @208-890-8503 or just email me @ bjackson@lylepearson.com.

Buckle up and drive safely!

Who Makes Acura?

“Action” Jackson Memo:

Occasionally, an interested buyer will come into the dealership and ask a familiar question: “Who makes Acura.” I have found that not everyone is familiar with the brand name of Acura and their different luxury models. Until, I joined Lyle Pearson Acura in 2002, I didn’t even know Acura existed.

For that reason, I prepared Ten (10) Important Reasons for Considering an Acura.

1. TRADITION….a storied legacy since the first Acura in 1986. Acura comes from the same roots as Honda – The Honda Motor Co., Ltd, which began in Japan more than 60 years ago. The first Honda to be imported and sold in the United States was in 1970.

2. STANDARD....pretty much all features, except a few, are standard and not options.

3. SAFETY….at Acura safety isn’t merely a matter of seat belts and air bags. It begins with the design process and is an intrinsic part of every vehicle they build. In fact Acura is the only luxury manufacturer with all of its models rated 5 stars according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

4. QUALITY….Acura goes to the greatest lengths to build the highest quality vehicles in the world.

5. RELIABILITY….For years, according to car and consumer rating magazines, Acura has received high marks as a luxury car manufacturer.

6. INNOVATION….always on the leading edge of technology, styling and innovation with you, the driver, and your precious passengers, in mind.

7. VALUE….Acura’s vehicles retain their value better than other luxury automobiles period.

8. HELP….Acura Roadside Assistance is available during your vehicle’s warranty (4 years or 50,000 miles which ever one comes first). Acura’s Powertrain Warranty is 6 years or 70,000 miles.

9. PRICING….Acura combines safety, performance, styling, features and innovative technology with more affordable pricing compared to other luxury manufacturers. More value for your hard earned dollars.

10. ACURA….has always been and will continue to be a driver’s luxury vehicle.

FINAL NOTE….2010 Acura lineup includes the TSX, TL, RL, RDX, MDX and now the new ZDX. We are not here to do what has already been done. For additional information or to make an appointment, I can be reached by cell phone @ 208-890-8503 or email @ bjackson@lylepearson.com.

Tuesday, January 12, 2010

My name is Bill “Action” Jackson and I have been with Lyle Pearson Acura for more than seven years. Every one calls me “Action” and I may be reached by cell phone (208-890-8503) or email (bjackson@lylepearson.com). As a certified Acura sales consultant, I am often asked by prospective clients what are the advantages to leasing versus purchasing an Acura. Acura Luxury Leasing has many great features and benefits which I have summarized as follows:

• Low up-front costs.

• No disposition fee.

• No purchase-option fee.

• $1500 Excessive Wear and Use Waiver included.

• Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) included.

• Low-mileage option.

• Option to purchase additional mileage for 10 cents per mile at contract signing.

• Lease terms from 24 to 60 months.

• Guaranteed purchase price.

• Freedom to customize with Acura Genuine Accessories.

• Low monthly payments.

• Option to purchase Acura Care Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) protection.

Below are a few questions often asked by my customers

Q: Is there a limit to the number of miles I can drive with a lease?

A: When you choose the Acura Luxury Lease you have choices. You can choose a lease plan that allows you to drive 12,000 or 15,000 miles per year, with the option of purchasing additional mileage when you sign your lease contact.

Q: Am I protected with a lease in case my Acura is deemed a total loss because of theft or an accident?

A: Yes. All Acura Financial Leases include Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) coverage, which covers the difference between what you owe on your lease and what the vehicle insurance pays should your vehicle be stolen or deemed a total loss in an accident.

Q: Don’t I have to pay for wear-and-use charges?
A: All AFS leases include a $1500 Excessive Wear and Use Waiver, which should more than cover most drivers. And consider this if you purchased your vehicle, wear and use (those door dings and upholstery tears) could cost you in the form of a lower trade-in-value. Leasing can actually be more forgiving when it comes to wear and use.
